Impacting Business by Design (IBbD) was formed as a programme to identify, screen and validate businesses with potential for significant growth. They then are able to work in partnership directly with that business and its ideas, providing grant funding, appraisals, idea development and manufacturing advice.
The challenge was to create a site specifically to attract the correct level of candidate who would be both eligible for grant funding and have high growth potential.
Showcasing design through design
Over the course of the project, we worked in direct partnership with the team at IBbD to build a site which would not only validate businesses for eligibility but would handle the application procedure. We designed and built a tailor-made tool to handle a two-stage application process and PIN verification system.
The web UI reflected the client’s existing brand with the layout specifically structured to showcase their key value proposition. The various interactive elements we created during the project were kept inline to build a consistent brand experience across the website.
Motion driven interaction
Whilst showcasing the business offering we wanted to simultaneously create a beautiful, motion driven experience which evoked joy. Small detail animations were added throughout the site across buttons, loader and state change interactions.
Vector animation
Pushing the design system a little further, we designed and deployed various playful animations, generating brand intrigue whilst aligning with the new visual language.
